Warranty

Protect your investment
A roofing system consists of many components — all critical to maintaining a healthy roof. When you choose Owens Corning® Limited Lifetime shingles (see chart) and at least three qualifying Owens Corning® roofing components, the Owens Corning® Standard Roofing System Limited Warranty* protects every Owens Corning® component of your Total Protection Roofing System®^ for a Limited Lifetime. It’s a smart way to help protect your home as well as your roofing investment.

Peace of mind
There’s more to a roof than just shingles. The Standard Roofing System Limited Warranty* lets you rest easy knowing that your entire Owens Corning® Total Protection Roofing System®^ including underlayment, hip & ridge shingles, ventilation products and more — is protected for a Limited Lifetime.

Coverage
The Standard Roofing System Limited Warranty* has a 10-year “non-prorated” Tru PROtection® period for both material defects and labor to repair or replace them. Additionally, every Owens Corning® roofing component, except the electrical components of the VentSure® Solar Attic Exhaust Fan, and VentSure® off-ridge exhaust vents, is covered by a limited lifetime warranty*; in many cases extending their warranty period. The Standard Roofing System Limited Warranty* does not cover non-Owens Corning® roofing components such as flashing, fasteners or wood decking.

One-time transfer*
Whether you’re staying in your home for years to come or planning to sell, the Standard Roofing System Limited Warranty is transferable,* making it an excellent investment. If you’re planning to sell, this warranty may provide a highly desirable benefit to future homebuyers.

Requirements

To be eligible for the Standard Roofing System Limited Warranty,* you must purchase and install Owens Corning® Limited Lifetime shingles (see chart) and at least three of the following Owens Corning® roofing components (one product from each category where applicable):
• WeatherLock® Self-Sealing Ice & Water Barrier products

• Your roofing system must be installed over an approved underlayment on a clean roof deck with all existing roofing material and debris removed.*
